     BRIDGEWATER

When you drive down from Woodstock Rte 4 West towards Killington you will go through Bridgewater, the first town after you left Woodstock. Here you’ll find nothi ng spectacular, except the “ Mill” on your left side where you can find the Charles Shackleton Woodworking Shops showing handmade furniture with illustrations how they will be made. One of the best Pizzas in the area you get by “Ramunto”.

Next to the mill is a road called GOLD COAST with some of the most spectacular homes.

The third notable institution is the Bridgewater police. Before you are aware there is a speed limit of 25 miles, later 35 miles and later 40 miles per hour, you will hear the police siren and you may have a ticket which finances the town. Part of Bridgewater, where Route 100A starts, is called Bridgewatercorners, where you can find the village General Store and the Bridgewater Corners Inn, which has a cosy restaurant and a very good menu.
